Studio Improvements

Overt the winter I have been rearranging things and improving my workspace. The slab roller is new as mentioned in an earlier post. The shelves ware racks on the left and the right were built in January. I’ll have more room now for storing finished pots waiting for firing.

This rack was completed last week and as you can see will house dry materials such as fire clay, minerals and plaster.

Last fall I hired a friend to build this closet. Last month I painted it.

Inside is a much awaited improvement, a waterless composting toilet from Canada.

Earlier today my hired man poured cement into these forms to make footers for a storage shed that will take shape over the next little while. It will house display equipment for sales, signs and other assorted junk that needs to get out of my workspace. More to come on this project.
